My week #2

So I don't really walk to work as I live in that annoying in between area where it only takes 15 minutes to drive but it would take over an hour to walk. And I'm not doing the London to Brighton trek this year as Topher has a hernia so I'm just going to casually skip this topic for an update of what I've been up to.

Blog On Mosi

DSC03647

Last Saturday I attended the Blog On Mosi conference and decided since I wrote about Cinco De Mayo last year for #BEDM that this would be a good day to slip in my event photos. Take a look at the nail designs I did for last years Cinco De Mayo post.

So after having so much fun at Blognix last year, I was happy to find another blogging conference close to home and signed up before tickets sold out in January.

My favourite sessions were the Advanced blogging seminar by Bring Digital UK, followed by the Lifestyle Niche session held by Charlie from Gin-Fuelled BlueStocking and Dannii from Hungry Healthy Happy below.

As part of the photography talk, we were sent into MOSI to go practise our skills. I headed straight to the 3D printing exhibit as I'm fascinated by the technology and was sure there would be plenty of interesting things to photograph.

We were well fed throughout the day with lots of sandwiches and pastries. The cake  below looked amazing but I was so full from lunch I couldn't indulge! And it was red velvet - my favourite. :(

We were all sent home with armfuls of goody bags including a bottle of prosecco and enough sweets to give you a sugar high for a week!. I had a great time and am looking forward to next year.

Have you ever been to a blog conference?
