Outfit Post: Childish Prints

Ok, so I have a sensible shopping rule where if I'm still thinking about something a week later, then I buy it. Well, this rule went out the window when I saw this ASOS dress on Sarah from A Million Dresses' blog. I fell in love and bought it that day. I don't think I've ever done that before. Tut tut Sarah for bringing this dress to my attention (secretly jumping up and down thanking her). 

I was really surprised when I received it in the post as it was mint, not white as it looks on the website (and a tad bit in these pics). But it was a good kind of surprised, kinda unknowingly forced me to wear pastels. There you go, I'm wearing pastels. And they actually look ok. I wore this outfit to work a couple of days ago.

I kept the rest of my outfit very muted and just let the dress do the talking. I love it! I am a total mint convert now. Feel kinda like an ice cream ha ha.
